Why is Thai Massage?

  Thai massage is believed to have been made by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, physician to Buddha, more than two thousand and five hundred years ago in India. It made its way to Thailand, where the Ayurvedic techniques and principles gradually became affected by traditional Chinese medicine. Ancient times for centuries, The monks created Thai massage as one component of Thai medicine.

How does Thai massage work?


  Thai massage is rubbing art that it has energizing and rigorous more than other classic forms of massage.  Thai massage or other name is called Thai yoga massage, because hands, knees, legs, and feet are used by the therapist for moving you into a series of yoga-like stretches. The most people say Thai massage is like conducting yoga without any work. Moreover, they describe Thai massage as both relaxing and energizing. During treatment Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used.

Benefits and Limitations for Thai Massage

  4. Prone to blood clots. There is a risk of blood clots being dislodged. If you have heart disease, check with your doctor before having a massage
  5. Pregnant women should check with their doctor first if they are considering getting a massage. Massage in pregnant women should be done by massage therapists who are certified in pregnancy massage.
  Massage should not be done directly over bruises, inflamed skin, unhealed wounds, tumors, abdominal hernia, or areas of recent fractures.
